An array of various vehicles are available in-game for you to travel in.You are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn African state, stricken with malaria and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords on both sides of the conflict in order to make this country your home. You can choose to pledge allegiance to one or more factions, and you can progress through the game at your own pace. You can choose from 9 different characters, each with a unique identity, and take up the role of a hardened mercenary. With an open-ended experience where you can roam about the nooks and crannies of the vast landscapes and take down people as you please, this game grants you much freedom and excitement. The gameplay of Far Cry 2 is quite magnificent. And beyond all, the Jackal, an arms dealer who deals with both the sides, must be taken down! Left without anything to sustain themselves, the mercenaries must now fight and strive to survive. When the nation’s diamond mines end up getting exhausted, there are no means of getting pay or a way of getting out of the country for the mercenaries. However, when neither of the sides seem to be letting down, they start hiring foreign mercenaries to do their dirty work.
Both these political parties seek to conquer a Central African country. The storyline of this action-adventure game follows the long-raging war between the United Front for Liberation and Labour which is led by a former opposition leader and the Alliance for Popular Resistance which is led by the chief of staff for the former government.
